How Weekly Service Fits a Gym
An empty towel shelf at 6 a.m. is something members remember. Here's how we keep it full.

-
Towel Counts Based on Visits
Towel use follows check-ins, not membership size. We start from your weekly visits and how many members take a towel, then adjust once your first counts come back.
-
Wet Towels Don't Sit Long
Damp, sweaty towels start to smell when they sit in a bin. We set a pickup schedule that fits your volume, and we'll adjust it as your membership grows.
-
Sorted and Washed Separately
Each industry's laundry is sorted and washed separately, with the care that kind of linen needs. Workout towels come back clean, dried and folded for the shelf.
-
Shirts on the Same Delivery
Front desk and trainer shirts ride on your regular towel delivery and show up on the same per-piece invoice.
What to Check in a Gym Towel Agreement
Terms with large national providers vary by agreement. These are the points worth finding in yours, and your free invoice review can go over them with you.
- Weekly minimums may stay the same in summer, when visits often drop
- Charges for missing towels can add up when members walk off with them
- Terms often renew automatically unless you cancel in a short notice window
- Towels and staff shirts may be on separate agreements with separate fees
How Many Towels a Gym Needs
We size your starting order from your check-ins, then adjust it after the first two weeks of counts. Here's the method, with an example for a gym with about 3,000 member visits a week, a towel desk and locker room showers.
| Item | How we estimate it | Example per week |
|---|---|---|
| Workout towels | Weekly visits × the share of members who take one | About 1,800 (about 60% of visits) |
| Shower towels | Weekly visits × the share who shower at the gym | About 750 (about 25% of visits) |
| Hand towels | Locker room vanities and stretching areas, a few dozen a day | About 250 |
| Staff shirts | One per front desk or trainer shift | About 60 |

Gym Linen Service FAQ
Do you require a contract for gym towel service?
No. You order by the piece from our price list and can stop whenever you want. If visits drop in summer, your order drops with them.
How many towels does a gym need?
It depends on visits and how many members take a towel, not total membership. We'll set a starting count from your check-ins and adjust it after the first two weeks.
Can you pick up more than once a week?
Ask us. We'll talk through a pickup schedule that fits your volume.
Can staff shirts come on the same delivery as towels?
Yes. Front desk and trainer shirts are picked up and delivered on your regular day along with your towels.
