How Weekly Service Fits a Hotel

Housekeeping can't turn a room without clean linen on the cart. Here's how we keep the closets stocked.

  • Par Levels Set Per Bed

Hotels usually plan linen per bed, not per room. We start from your bed count and bed sizes, then set enough sheets and pillowcases for the beds in use, the set at the facility and a set in the linen closet.

  • Deliveries Planned Around Checkout

Most rooms turn in the late morning and early afternoon. We set your pickup and delivery times so clean linen is in the closet before housekeeping needs it, and the schedule stays the same week to week.

  • Counts That Follow Occupancy

A full weekend and a slow Tuesday don't use the same linen. Every pickup is counted at the facility, so your invoice follows what your rooms actually used, not a fixed room count.

  • Sorted and Washed Separately

Each industry's laundry is sorted and washed separately, with the care that kind of linen needs. Sheets and towels come back pressed, folded and counted for your carts.

What to Check in a Hotel Linen Agreement

Terms with large national providers vary by agreement. These are the points worth finding in yours, and your free invoice review can go over them with you.

  • Charges may be set by room count, so you can pay for full occupancy in slow months
  • Linen loss or replacement charges can be hard to check against your own counts
  • Terms often renew automatically unless you cancel in a short notice window
  • Annual price increases may be written into the agreement

How Much Linen a Hotel Needs

We size your starting order from your beds and occupancy, then adjust it after the first two weeks of counts. Here's the method, with an example for a 60-room hotel at about 70% occupancy, with about 1.5 beds per room and an average two-night stay.

These are starting estimates, not a quote. Your real numbers come from your first two weeks of counts. Pool towels are added on top of these in summer. Most hotels keep about three times their per-delivery use on hand.

Hotel Linen Service FAQ

Do you require a contract for hotel linen service?

No. You order by the piece from our price list and can stop service whenever you want. There's no fixed room count you're billed on.

How much linen does a hotel need on hand?

A common rule is about three sets per bed: one on the bed, one at the facility and one in the linen closet. Some hotels keep a little more for busy weekends. We'll set your starting par from your bed count and occupancy.

Can you add pool towels for the summer?

Yes. Many hotels add pool towels for the summer and drop them when the pool closes. Tell us when your pool opens and we'll add them to your deliveries.

Do you work with short-term rentals?

Yes, if they're on our routes. Short-term rental owners and managers can order sheets, pillowcases and towels by the piece like any other customer.
