How Weekly Service Fits a Restaurant

Linen service only works if clean stock is on the shelf before the doors open. Here's how we set it up.

Work aprons hanging on hooks
  • Pickup Timed Around Service

We collect soiled linens before lunch prep or after close, whichever keeps the driver out of your way. The time is set when you start and stays the same.

  • Par Levels Sized to Your Covers

Most restaurants run about three sets of linens: one in use, one at the facility and one clean on the shelf. We size your par from your covers and table count, then adjust it as your volume changes.

  • Counted In and Counted Out

Every pickup is counted at the facility, so your invoice matches what you actually sent. If a count looks off, you call the facility, not a call center.

  • Extra Stock for Busy Weeks

Holiday weekends, private parties and catering jobs need more linen than a normal week. Call ahead and we'll add it to your next delivery.

What to Check in a Restaurant Linen Agreement

Terms with large national providers vary by agreement. These are the points worth finding in yours, and your free invoice review can go over them with you.

  • Multi-year terms that renew automatically unless you cancel in a narrow notice window
  • Added service, fuel or loss charges on top of the per-piece price
  • Minimum weekly charges that don't shrink when business is slow
  • Price increases written into the agreement each year

How Much Linen a Restaurant Needs

We size your starting order from how your restaurant actually runs, then adjust it after the first two weeks of counts. Here's the method, with an example for a 100-seat full-service restaurant serving about 1,500 covers a week.

These are starting estimates, not a quote. Your real numbers come from your first two weeks of counts. Most restaurants keep about three times their per-delivery use on hand: one set in use, one at the facility and one on the shelf.

Restaurant Linen Service FAQ

Do you require a contract for restaurant linen service?

No. You order by the piece from our price list and can stop service whenever you want. We keep customers by doing the job well, not by locking them in.

What linens do restaurants usually need?

Most full-service restaurants use tablecloths, napkins, bar towels, kitchen towels and aprons. Many also add chef coats. We'll suggest a starting list from your table count and menu.

How much linen inventory will my restaurant need?

A common rule is about three sets: one in use, one being washed and one on the shelf. We size your par from your covers per week and adjust it as you get busier or slower.

Can I switch if I'm still under contract with a national company?

Usually, yes, once your current term ends. Your free invoice review includes finding the renewal date and the notice window, so you know exactly when you can switch.

Can you deliver extra linens for a private event or holiday weekend?

Yes. Call or text the facility a few days ahead and we'll add the extra pieces to your next delivery.
