How Weekly Service Fits a Plant or Shop
A tech reaching for a towel or a clean shirt shouldn't find an empty bin. Here's how we set it up.

-
Towel Counts by Bay, Line or Crew
We set your weekly shop towel count from your bays, production lines or maintenance crews, then adjust it once your first counts come back. A second shift or a busy month just means a higher count.
-
Sorted and Washed Separately
Each industry's laundry is sorted and washed separately, with the care that kind of linen needs. Shop towels and work wear are never washed with restaurant or hotel linens.
-
Shirts and Coveralls Counted Out
Soiled shirts and coveralls go in the bag on pickup day and come back clean on delivery day. Every piece is counted at the facility, so your invoice matches what your crew sent.
-
Counter Staff Covered Too
Shirts for counter and service staff come on the same weekly delivery as your shop towels and work wear, on one per-piece invoice.
What to Check in a Uniform and Shop Towel Agreement
Terms with large national providers vary by agreement. These are the points worth finding in yours, and your free invoice review can go over them with you.
- Garment replacement or make-up charges may apply when an employee leaves
- Charges for lost or damaged shop towels can be hard to check against your counts
- Terms often renew automatically unless you cancel in a short notice window
- Service, fuel or environmental fees may be added on top of the per-piece price
How Many Shop Towels and Shirts a Shop Needs
We size your starting order from your bays, crews and shifts, then adjust it after the first two weeks of counts. Here's the method, with an example for an auto repair shop with 6 bays and 8 technicians working 5 days a week.
| Item | How we estimate it | Example per week |
|---|---|---|
| Shop towels | About 10 per technician per day | About 400 |
| Work shirts | One per technician per day | About 40 |
| Coveralls | For the dirtiest jobs, about 1 to 2 per technician | About 12 |
Planning Around the Year
June Through August
Summer heat in North Georgia means more shirt changes and more towels for sweat as well as grease.
Early July and Late December
Many plants schedule shutdowns around the holidays. Tell us ahead and we'll pause or shrink that week's order.
November Through March
Winter maintenance projects and shutdown repairs use more shop towels. Call ahead and we'll raise that week's count.

Manufacturing Linen Service FAQ
Do you require a contract for shop towel and work shirt service?
No. You order by the piece from our price list and can stop service whenever you want.
How many shop towels does a shop or plant need?
Most shops start with a set number per technician or per station each day. We'll set a starting count from your bays, lines or crews and adjust it after the first two weeks.
Are shop towels washed with other customers' linens?
No. Each industry's laundry is sorted and washed separately, with the care that kind of linen needs. Shop towels and work wear are never washed with food-service or hotel linens.
Can we put solvent-soaked rags in the towel container?
No. Towels soaked with solvents or other hazardous materials need to be handled under your own waste process. Shop towels with normal grease and oil are what our service is for.
